Paul Wight has starred in films and television shows in the past, but he is now taking his talents to the NFT platform.
Deadline.com reported today that the AEW star will be starring and producing a new science fiction series called GenZeroes. It will be available as a live action NFT for purchase via the House of Kibaa website.
The series is set 200 years after an alien invasion has left the world devastated, with 10 factions fighting to control the future of humanity.
The report says that Wight will play the role of “Thatch” in the series.
Promotional material and description for GenZeroes reads:
“In the year 2022, earth was ravaged by a marauding alien species. They took our resources and left those that survived in ruins. Now, 200 years in the future, humankind has been fractured into 10 factions. Each one with their own philosophy on how humanity should begin again. GenZeroes is the first ever NFT series using multiple formats to tell a rich sci-fi action adventure drama.”
The project marks Paul Wight’s first foray into NFTs, but not his first in a series. He previously starred in the Netflix show, “The Big Show Show”, where he played himself.
