The date and opponent for Paul Wight’s in-ring AEW debut has been announced.
On last week’s (August 11) episode of AEW Dynamite, Paul Wight came to the aid of Tony Schiavone and his son Chris, fighting off the Factory and giving Aaron Solo a Chokeslam.

Paul Wight’s last match was on the July 20, 2020 episode of WWE Raw, where he lost to Randy Orton in an Unsanctioned match, before Orton punted him in the head.
