Peacock Removes Yet Another WWE Attitude Era Segment

An eagle-eyed Reddit user has spotted that Peacock is continuing its purge of the Attitude Era on the WWE Network, this time removing a segment from a 1997 episode of Raw.

The segment in question is Goldust introducing Luna Vachon on the November 24 episode of Raw. It appears the segment was removed due to Goldust having black paint on his face.

All 17,000 hours of WWE Network content are being review by Peacock to ensure it aligns with their 2021 standards. WWE has been helping with the review process, and Peacock is informing WWE of any planned edits.

The edits are being made on the WWE Network and on Peacock, which means international users without access to Peacock are also being affected.

Things that have been removed so far are the Survivor Series 2005 segment with WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon using the N-word to John Cena and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, and the WrestleMania 6 match between Bad News Brown and WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper, where Piper wrestled with half of his body covered in black paint.

Peacock’s review of the WWE Network continues, so expect to see more content being edited or removed in the coming months.
