Following his WWE debut, former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta has discussed his first reaction to the company’s locker room.
On the January 13 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, Penta made his long awaited debut in the company by picking up a victory over Chad Gable.
Since then, the former AEW star has gone undefeated in singles competition and was the “Iron Man’ in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
In a new interview with Scott Fishman of TVInsider, Penta was asked to compare the WWE locker room to other locker rooms he’s been in. He answered:
“I like this locker room a lot. Everyone here is happy. Everyone is professional,”
On how he will use his experience in Lucha Underground in WWE, the luchador said:
“So much. When Lucha Underground started, it was the younger Penta. It was crazy Penta. More intense and violent.”
“Now this Penta I think evolved to this different style. Penta is aggressive but more serious at the same time because WWE has a style. I love this style. Here I will connect with the real Penta.”
Penta last wrestled in a win over Ludwig Kaiser on the February 3 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix.
Post match, Kaiser attacked the Mexican star after a distraction from Pete Dunne.
AEW star Rey Fenix has reacted to his brother Penta’s Royal Rumble moment with Rey Mysterio, which you can read here.
