Penta has opened up about a potential reunion for The Lucha Brothers now that both stars are in the WWE, albeit on separate brands.
Having departed AEW in November 2024, Penta debuted on the January 6 Netflix premiere episode of WWE Raw.
Rey Fenix would follow suit, debuting on the April 4, 2025, episode of WWE SmackDown, having departed AEW in March of that year.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo, Penta has reflected on his time in WWE alongside his real-life brother, remaining hopeful they would reunite soon, saying:
“I feel very happy for my brother and for me, too because finally the Lucha Brothers are together here. The best tag team in the universe, together, in the best company in the universe, too.
“I hope (the Lucha Brothers will reunite on WWE TV) very soon.”

Penta would feature in the Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, which saw Dominik Mysterio victorious in a match also featuring Finn Balor and the then-champion Bron Breakker.
Penta has previously discussed the possibility of a future dream match with his own brother, although he sees that taking place “10 or 15 years” down the line.
