Pete Dunne has joined in the jokes being made about his “Butch” name change on SmackDown last Friday.
On Twitter, Dunne tweeted a video of his post match attack on Kofi Kingston from Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
In the caption, Dunne wrote:
IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BUTCH -BUTCH
https://twitter.com/PeteDunneYxB/status/1503446989429780484
The caption is a reference to AEW star Adam Cole’s theme song, “All About The Boom”.
Cole has been apart of some hilarious skits on the Being The Elite series with John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order.
In the skits, Silver and Reynolds often refer to Cole as “Budge” in reference to the multiple reports that WWE was going to change Adam Cole’s name when he was with the company.
Those skits don’t seem that off-base after Pete Dunne’s name change.
