Since Pete Dunne lost the WWE United Kingdom Championship to WALTER at NXT TakeOver: New York, fans have been waiting for the day that he makes the switch to regular old NXT or even the main roster.
Well, it’s time to get excited, because it seems as though that day is very close, at least according to PWInsider.
The report is that Dunne is in the process of moving from the UK to the US, and that he should be making more appearances on NXT very soon.
Pete Dunne is in the process of moving to the United States full time, so expect him to be a big part of WWE NXT going forward.
Dunne is a record holding UK Championship holder, and his popularity across both the UK and US is undeniable.
He will be a huge loss for NXT UK, which has struggled to create new stars since it was formed, but a massive gain for NXT, particularly once it debuts on the USA Network in less than a week.
Tyler Bate, Dunne’s rival and tag British Strong Style stablemate, committed his future to NXT UK during the most recent taping, but it’s surely only a matter of time before he too is snapped up by NXT. Particularly after his match with WALTER at TakeOver: Cardiff.
