A new photo has emerged of AEW’s Jeff Hardy, revealing that he’s recovering from a recent eye procedure.
Jeff Hardy last wrestled at the May 2022 Double or Nothing pay-per-view, teaming with Matt Hardy to defeat Matt & Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks.
A Twitter user has now shared a photo of himself with Hardy, noting that he met Hardy while he was on vacation.
Noting that Jeff has recently had eye surgery, they wrote:
Met @JEFFHARDYBRAND while vacationing today. Could not have been more generous and likable. He just had eye surgery, get well soon! #hardyboyz #brothernero @AEW
The former WWE Champion hasn’t appeared for AEW since getting suspended after his DUI arrest that June.
In a report from February 24, 2023, the Wrestling Observer revealed court records show that the case is now closed after Jeff submitted a written plea of ‘nolo contendere’ to all charges.
‘Nolo contendere” translates from Latin as ‘I do not wish to contend’ and is a ‘plea of no contest’ without entering a guilty plea or admitting one’s guilt.
You can read about Jeff’s full sentence, which includes a 10-year suspension of Jeff’s driving license, right here.
Matt Hardy previously commented on Jeff’s recovery and his potential AEW return.
