‘Pissed Off’ WWE Star Cuts Fiery Online Promo Amid Future Speculation

A “pissed off” WWE star has cut a fiery online promo amid speculation regarding he and his tag team partner’s future in the company.

Tomorrow night’s SmackDown (November 15) sees the Motor City Machine Guns defend their WWE Tag Team Championships for the very first time as they take on The Street Profits.

A cloud of speculation is surrounding the match regarding the statuses of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, with Montez Ford in particular venting his frustration at their position in recent weeks.

In a WWE interview last week Ford would refer to their match with Motor City Machine Guns as “WWE Tag Team Championships or bust”.

While some believe Ford’s comments could be building towards a potential split of The Street Profits, there has also been rumors regarding the pair’s contract status in WWE also.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp revealed that some talent in WWE were unsure if Ford & Dawkins’ comments were made in storyline or not.

The report also noted that Ford and Dawkins signed their WWE contracts back in 2019, but could not get a “concrete answer” on whether these deals were up soon or if they’d re-sign with the company.

With all that in mind, Angelo Dawkins took to Twitter to post a passionate promo in which he echoed Ford’s “WWE Tag Team Championship or bust” statement, while claiming that he and Ford “deserved” to hold the gold.

Dawkins said:

“Four years. Four long years since we had those WWE Tag Team Championships. How many times can one team be the number one contender and not get the job done?

“We have to do it. We have to do it this time. There ain’t no excuses. Ain’t nothing getting in our way. Because to be real with you I’m pissed off. I’m pissed off.

“I’m a man looking for vengeance and I’m willing to lie in my own grave to make you eat your own words. Friday we’re getting it done. Championships or bust. We deserve it. Myself, my brother Montez, we deserve it.

“Everybody keep saying everybody deserving of one thing, that’s the word everybody likes to use. So I’mma use it. Motor City y’all deserving, y’all deserving of an ass whooping. Not those tag team championships.”
