With Bianca Belair’s victory over IYO SKY at WWE Backlash, she officially became the longest reigning Raw Women’s Champion of all time.
Despite being the Raw Women’s Champion, Bianca was drafted to the SmackDown brand, along with several other top women’s stars from the former Raw roster.
Bianca has defeated many names during her run as the champion, including Becky Lynch, Bayley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss and Asuka.
However, Bianca could be set to face off with a former foe one more time, but this time under slightly different circumstances.
Per PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Inc.), there has been a pitch made for Asuka to turn heel on the SmackDown brand.
On top of the heel turn, there was talk a few weeks back within the company of running a rematch between the two at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia at the end of the month.
Asuka has not appeared on WWE television since her defeat to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39.
Asuka recently took to Twitter to respond to rumours that she had requested her release from the company.
