Big Change To NXT Act Ahead Of Main Roster Call-Up

There has been a lot of reports on a potential main roster call up for Legado Del Fantasma in recent weeks, with them reportedly being set to debut on the SmackDown brand imminently.

PWInsider then provided an update, reporting that Legado Del Fantasma are set to debut on the main roster on tonight’s episode of SmackDown (October 7).

It was also noted in the report that only Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro were spotted in Worcester ahead of the show, with Elektra Lopez not seen.

Another spoiler for a potential return on tonight’s show was that of Zelina Vega, who has not been on WWE television since April due to an injury. These two event occurring on the same day is not a coincidence.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), there was a heavy pitch made to put Zelina with Legado on the SmackDown brand, potentially in the place of Elektra Lopez.

In an update from PWInsider, plans for Elektra Lopez to join the group on the main roster have been changed, and she is not in Worcester for the show, and will not be alongside Escobar, Wilde and Del Toro on SmackDown.
