The current planned date for the next NXT 2.0 TakeOver special event has been revealed, and it’s about a month away.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the tentative date for the first TakeOver of the NXT 2.0 era is “tentatively” set for Sunday, December 5.
It’s currently unknown whether the special will retain the TakeOver name, or if they’ll be called something different from now on.
The last TakeOver took place back on August 22 for TakeOver 36, which saw Samoa Joe win the NXT Championship from Karrion Kross in the main event, but a lot has changed since then.
WrestleTalk.com will have full live coverage of tonight’s NXT 2.0, which features Dexter Lumis & Johnny Gargano vs Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams, Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner vs Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza, and the usual random people doing random things for random reasons.
