A championship match that was reportedly planned for WWE Clash in Paris has been removed from the event, with the new date announced.
With WWE’s Clash In Paris premium live event set to take place next weekend, there are currently four matches announced for the show.
However, it was reported earlier today by Wrestling Observer Newsletter that, as of Monday, three more matches were set to be announced for the event.
The matches would see Cody Rhodes defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella, and Solo Sikoa defend the United States Championship against Sami Zayn.
However, it seems as though Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn’s match has been removed from the show, with it being announced for next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Lyon, France the night before Clash In Paris.
Drew McIntyre also called out Cody Rhodes on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, though it was still not confirmed if the two would be facing off at Clash in Paris next weekend, or at a later date.
