A new report has revealed a planned WWE WrestleMania 39 match has been scrapped.

As previously reported, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have been planned to be involved in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 39 next month.

However, due to a change in plans and the six-woman tag between Damage CTRL and Trish Stratus, Lita and Becky Lynch, the tag title match came into question, although at one point it was still planned and the champions would just end up having two matches.

Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has provided an update, reporting that while the title match is now off the show, Rousey is still set to compete at WrestleMania and is expected in a different match.

WrestleVotes reported earlier today that there will be two new matches rumored for the card that will involve a Men’s and Women’s four-way tag team bouts.

This looks to be the new likely plan for Ronda Rousey to still compete on one of the two night WrestleMania events.
