Plans For Another NXT TakeOver Revealed

With NXT TakeOver: XXX taking place on August 22, WWE has plans in place for the date for the next TakeOver special later this year.

As reported by PWInsider, the next TakeOver after XXX is slated to take place on October 4. This is a Sunday and therefore isn’t the weekend of a WWE main roster pay-per-view.

There is no word on the planned location for this event, which probably shouldn’t come as a surprise given how fluid the situation with COVID-19 continues to be.

It was added in the report that the NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin event scheduled for October 25 is looking less likely due to the restrictions in place in the UK and Ireland.

There’s also no word on the title for the next TakeOver. WWE has gotten creative with the previous no-crowd iteration calling it ‘In Your House’, and may have to do so again if it is forced to take place at Full Sail.
