Chris Jericho’s cohort of Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz and Jericho himself will continue as a stable going forward in AEW, and will address their actions on next week’s episode.
The group formed last night at the conclusion of the inaugural AEW: Dynamite show.
After AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz defeated Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, Jericho’s Full Gear challenger Cody came out to ambush him as Jericho had done to Cody earlier in the show.
Cody’s opponent from earlier in the night, Sammy Guevara, then came out to avenge his loss in the show opener.
He was followed by Cody’s brother Dustin Rhodes, who laid out Santana, Ortiz and Guevara, but then former WWE World Champion Jake Hager made his AEW debut and joined forces with Jericho’s allies to lay out the fan favourites.

As noted, Chris Jericho is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Cody at Full Gear on November 9. However, AEW is also promoting a World Title defence for the October 16 Dynamite episode in Philadelphia.
The promotion’s website lists a singles match between Shawn Spears and Jon Moxley – the latter of whom attacked Kenny Omega last night ahead of their Full Gear match – and the Young Bucks vs. Private Party in round one of the AEW World Tag Team Title tournament for next week’s show in Boston.
