A popular band has teased making an appearance at a newly announced WWE Premium Live Event.
On June 24 it was confirmed that WWE and the Indiana Sports Corp had reached a massive agreement for the future staging of several WWE events in the state.
The first of which was confirmed to be the WWE Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025 – which will be staged at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium.
Also a part of the partnership is a future two-night SummerSlam and WrestleMania, as well as several other WWE events to be held in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Evansville.
In response to the news, Indiana’s own Downstait – who perform Cody Rhodes’ popular entrance theme song ‘Kingdom’ and The Miz’s theme ‘I Came To Play’ seemed to tease an appearance at at least one of the upcoming events held in the state.
Posting to Twitter, Downstait wrote:
Dudes… we’re from Indiana…
It’s currently unclear as to when WWE plan to host SummerSlam and WrestleMania in Indianapolis, however further details regarding the deal are expected to be coming at a later date.
WretsleTalk will provide further details as/when they become available.
