Despite WWE seemingly planting the seeds for a return in recent months, the Hurt Business faction is seemingly, at least for now, nothing but a fond memory.
Despite being a memorable collective and one that served all members extremely well, WWE inexplicably pulled the plug on the group not long after Bobby Lashley would win his first WWE Championship in early 2021.
While Lashley and MVP have remained in prominent positions in WWE since the split, the same can unfortunately not be said for both Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.
Now in a recent interview with WhatCulture, Benjamin would reflect on his time in the group and share his real thoughts on the group splitting up.
Benjamin said:
“For me it was one of the greatest experiences of my career, something that I’m gunna be proud of for the rest of my life. Definitely ended way sooner than any of would have liked but we me made the most of the opportunities.”
While the Hurt Business someday returning is up in the air, the status of Bobby Lashley’s former rival Drew McIntyre is also very much uncertain, click here to find out the latest.
