Earlier today, it was announced by Triple H that WarGames would be making it’s main roster debut at the upcoming Survivor Series show in November, a true mark of Triple H’s new WWE regime.
WarGames wasn’t the only stipulation that Triple H used in NXT. Another cage-based stipulation that was used to blow off big feuds was that of the Fight Pit. There have been two Fight Pit matches so far, with Timothy Thatcher taking part in both. The first saw Thatcher take on Tommaso Ciampa, while the second saw him face off with Matt Riddle.
With Riddle now on the main roster, and with his legit fight background, fans had wondered if the fight pit would make a return to the company, and it’s debut on the WWE main roster with Triple H now in power, and it is set to do just that.
On tonight’s Raw show, Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins fought backstage after each man had cost the other their match on the show. Rollins then accepted Riddle’s challenge for a rematch, telling him to name the time and the place.
Riddle then named his time and place, and even a stipulation. Extreme Rules in Philadelphia on October 8 inside the Fight Pit.
