A popular former TNA Wrestling star is, very appropriately, backstage at tonight’s (July 19) episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tonight’s show, along with being the Blood & Guts special episode of the show, tonight’s episode of Dynamite is the annual crossover episode with Shark Week.
AEW already shared a video of the cage being constructed for the Blood & Guts main event on the show, and we now have another shark-based crossover.
On the Shark Week Instagram story, a photo was shared of a shark mascot backstage at tonight’s show with Colt Cabana and former TNA star Shark Boy.
Shark Boy was a regular in IMPACT Wrestling (then TNA) from 2002 until 2009, making sporadic appearances on the show in the years since.
Shark Boy became popular due to his parody take on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin while a part of the TNA X-Division.
It is not known if Shark Boy will appear on tonight’s Dynamite show, but it sure would make for a very appropriate crossover.
