Popular WWE Tag Team Coming To AEW? WWE/AEW

AEW star Paul Wight recently said that he was soon hoping to make an in-ring return to the company.

Wight recently made a cameo as Captain Insano during an Acclaimed music video, but it seems another old act of Wight’s could be it’s way to AEW.

Back in 2009, Wight was a member of the Jeri-Show tag team alongside fellow current AEW star Chris Jericho, and with them now both in AEW, could the team reunite in AEW?

Well, Jericho himself filed a trademark for the Jeri-Show name on February 13 with the following description:

Mark For: JERI-SHOW trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.

Jeri-Show formed back in 2009, when Big Show stood in as Jericho’s partner after Jericho’s original partner, Edge, suffered an injury.

Jericho is currently feuding with Ricky Starks in AEW, with him denying Starks a rematch with him.

Paul Wight’s last match took place was a victory over Austin Green on the March 30, 2022 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
