‘Positive Preliminary Negotiations’ Between WWE & Star With Expiring Contract WWE

There have reportedly been ‘positive preliminary negotiations’ between WWE and a current star with an expiring contract.

Several WWE stars have contracts that have come up over the past few weeks, or have contracts set to expire in the coming months, including Becky Lynch and Chad Gable.

Another name whose deal is set to expire soon is Dijak, who was called up to the Raw roster from NXT in the 2024 WWE Draft.

Dijak has yet to appear on the Raw brand following his call-up, and there has been an update on his future with the company.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Dijak is being repped by Paragon Talent Group, which was founded by former WWE star Mojo Rawley and Steven Kaye, in negotiations with the company.

Fightful also notes that there have been ‘positive preliminary negotiations’ between the two sides, though no offer has been officially made as of yet.

Dijak will reportedly have extensive interest from outside the company should he not end up re-signing with the company, both in the wrestling world and outside the wrestling world.

Creatively, Fightful has not heard of any immediate plans for Dijak on Raw, and he was not brought to the June 3 episode of the show.

Dijak has been brought to shows in recent weeks since the Draft, though his only appearance has been on Main Event against Pete Dunne.

Those within the company that spoke to Fightful noted that his continued presence on social media has not gone unnoticed by WWE, with the belief being that WWE will look to retain him.

His contract is currently set to expire at the end of June.
