Eagle-eyed viewers, and in fact human-eyed viewers will have noticed that a certain CM Punk was missing from this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
While we don’t know for sure, Dave Meltzer is reporting a possible reason for Punk’s absence this week in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
According to Meltzer, Punk is currently involved with the filming of the latest series of TV show Heels, and it could be he’s taken time off from AEW to do that.
Meltzer writes:
“C.M. Punk will be part of the filming of the second season of the TV show “Heels” on “Starz. Filming is over the next several weeks. That may be why he wasn’t on either show taped in San Antonio this week.”
