Earlier this week we reported that Daniel Bryan and new WWE Universal champion The Fiend will be working a programme together soon, based on their backstage attack angle on SmackDown.
However, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the showdown between the two popular stars is happening a lot sooner than most expected.
Meltzer says that although the match has not been officially confirmed by WWE yet, the title bout between Bryan and Wyatt will take place at Survivor Series in just over a week’s time.
Bryan and Wyatt’s only previous PPV singles match came at Royal Rumble back in 2014. They have not been in the same ring together since a Manchester house show over four years ago in April 2015.
