A potential new WWE faction may be forming as a new champion’s celebration ceremony was interrupted by an uninvited guest.
After Tiffany Stratton opened tonight’s August 16 WWE SmackDown – with Pretty Deadly in the ring as well – she made the introduction of the Queen of the Ring and the new WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax.
However the celebration was a bit tainted from the start as Nia was appreciative of Tiffany’s efforts but did agree with Chelsea Green’s warning to Stratton last week that the decor was not her style.
Instead of the bright pink, white and colorful unicorns, Nia Jax said her aesthetic is decidedly more ‘destruction’.
While Pretty Deadly would attempt to course correct the mood by performing a song as part of ‘Pretty Deadly: The Musical’, instead everyone would end up getting taken out by Michin who ran in with a kendo stick.
The segment would end with Michin having swiped what appeared to be celebratory pink champagne and clearly unafraid of Nia Jax.
However, it appears that Pretty Deadly, Stratton and Jax may be a full group going forward, as Pretty Deadly had no hesitation in acknowledging Jax as their queen.
Still to come on tonight’s SmackDown is an expected appearance from Roman Reigns.
In other Bloodline action, the number one contenders for their WWE Tag Team Championship will be determined in a match between the Street Profits and DIY.
