Potential Spoiler For Big Return On WWE Raw August 22

A potential spoiler has emerged for a big return that could take place on tonight’s August 22 episode of WWE Raw in Toronto, Canada.

WWE has already announced two Hall of Famers for tonight’s show in the form of Edge and Trish Stratus, but it sounds like another could be joining them.

According to PWInsider, Beth Phoenix, the real-life wife of Edge, is in Toronto for tonight’s show.

Edge – in his hometown – has a match against Damian Priest tonight, and it was reported a few weeks ago that there were plans for Phoenix to potentially be involved in Edge’s latest return, so this could be where we see that come to fruition.

Phoenix and Edge were featured on WWE TV together at the start of the year, notably beating The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag match at Royal Rumble.

Edge and the Mysterios have been at a bit of a cross-roads recently in their battle against Judgment Day as they haven’t been able to fight back against Rhea Ripley, so it would make sense to bring in Phoenix as the equalizer.
