Potential Spoiler On Change To Big SmackDown Match

As previously announced, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston of the New Day will face off against Alpha Academy, The Street Profits and Los Lotharios in fourway action to determine the #1 contenders to The Usos’ WWE Tag Team Championship.

The winning team will challenge for the gold at the Extreme Rules premium live event on October 8.

Per PWInsider, there has been a pitch to swap Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios for Imperium and the Brawling Brutes. The report noted that WWE was ‘leaning in that direction’. It is unclear whether WWE will announce this change ahead of time, or if an angle will play out to write Chad Gable, Otis, Angel and Humberto out.

PWInsider also noted that creative plans for Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY have been added to the show, with early word that Bayley will be in action.

Another recent report has indicated that Triple H has more surprises in store for fans over the next few weeks.
