As the Royal Rumble quickly approaches, the reports of stars returning have started to ramp up. One such return being reported is that of former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi.
PWInsider is reporting that she is slated to be in Houston for the event this Sunday.
Naomi has not competed for WWE since July of 2019. Her last appearance saw her defeat Sarah Logan on Main Event. The report states that she is likely to be placed on the SmackDown brand upon her return.
Other rumoured returns have included the likes of Edge, Nia Jax, CM Punk and Ronda Rousey. We will see which stars make their returns to the ring as the men’s Rumble currently has 22 participants announced while the women’s Rumble only has four announced.
