Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins has been one of, if not the, wrestler of the year for WWE in 2022, beginning with his match with Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, to his trilogy with Cody Rhodes, to his recent encounter with Matt Riddle at Clash at the Castle.
Rollins picked up the victory over Riddle in Cardiff, delivering a Stomp off the second rope on Riddle, seemingly giving a definitive end to their ongoing rivalry, at least for now.
With Riddle in the rear view mirror, and WWE teasing an appearance from Rollins for tonight’s show, fans have wondered what exactly is next for the Visionary in WWE.
Per PWInsider, there has been talk in the company that Seth Rollins will soon be set up as a challenger for Bobby Lashley’s United States Championship.
Lashley has been a dominant United States Champion in recent months, defending the championship in matches against Tommaso Ciampa, AJ Styles and The Miz.
