Last week, Adam Cole, Shayna Baszler and a whole host of other NXT stars invaded Friday Night Smackdown. Cole had a brilliant TV match with former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.
It has been reported that several NXT stars, including the aforementioned Adam Cole, are in New York for tonight’s Monday Night Raw.
Some have speculated that WWE’s main roster stars could turn up on NXT TV this week in retaliation for NXT invading the most recent episodes of Raw and Smackdown.
This would obviously be a very smart move for WWE, as the main roster stars would help boost NXT’s ratings in the Wednesday Night Wars with AEW.
However, WWE will be heading over to the UK either tomorrow or on Wednesday as part of their European tour. Friday’s episode of NXT is set to be taped in Manchester, England.
While it is possible that a few main roster stars could turn up on NXT and join the roster of the group in the UK later on in the week, it seems unlikely that WWE would want to arrange two trips.
This certainly means that it is unlikely that any Raw or Smackdown star will be appearing on NXT TV on the USA Network this week.
However, it should be noted that this is just speculation at this point, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest.
