WWE fans from around the globe were stunned when Big E suffered a catastrophic injury during an episode of WWE SmackDown that saw him stretchered away from ringside mid-match.

Big E has recently commented on how his healing journey has progressed since suffering a broken neck during the match in March 2022, noting that he was “feeling great”.

And now another tease that the big return could be in the works as WRKD Wrestling on Twitter wrote:

“One name rumored to return during the upcoming draft is former WWE champion, Big E.

“Big E has been sidelined with a major neck injury since March ‘22.”

Meanwhile, reports that there was already creative plans waiting and ready for Big E and the New Day upon their ability to reunite excited fans just last week.

Also according to WRKD Wrestling, one pitch has been for the New Day to feud with Imperium upon their reunification with Big E facing GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship being the central feud.
