Spoiler On Ric Flair’s WWE Hall Of Fame Announcement? WWE

A potential spoiler has emerged on who Ric Flair could announce as the next inductee into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame.

WWE announced yesterday that Flair would be making the announcement on the Wednesday, March 15 edition of The Bump.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, signs seem to be pointing towards Keiji Muto, AKA The Great Muta, being the name announced by Flair.

Meltzer said:

“Ric Flair has asked to induct Muto, or has been asked to induct Muto. A lot of people thought it would be Sting, but politically that would have been tough before, I think it would have been even tougher now.

“We do know that Muto has been asked to be in the Hall of Fame, and we do know that Flair has asked to induct him, so that seems to make sense.

As far as other potential names, Meltzer mentioned Stacy Keibler as someone that’s rumored.

Mick Foley recently said that he was asked by someone surprising to induct them, but obviously didn’t say who – Meltzer said he’s not sure if that was referring to Keibler or someone else.

Also providing a little bit of background on the only name confirmed so far Rey Mysterio, who will be inducted by Konnan, Meltzer added:

“They had to clear that Konnan was not under contract to MLW, because if he was, they were not going to use him. Because of the lawsuit, which is ongoing.”

We’ll continue to bring you any further Hall of Fame updates as they come to light.

The ceremony will take place right after the March 31 episode of SmackDown, the night before WrestleMania 39.
