A new report has discussed early WWE plans for SummerSlam 2021, outlining a potential location for the show.
It was previously reported that WWE are planning to welcome fans back for SummerSlam. The Biggest Party Of The Summer could take place in the Lone Star State, according to a new report.
As per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there is talk within WWE of Texas hosting SummerSlam. Phoenix, Arizona has also been considered for the annual August show.
WWE are reportedly hoping to air the show in an outdoor stadium, similar to WrestleMania 37. This is entirely dependent on pandemic restrictions. WWE could ultimately be forced to have SummerSlam 2021 in the ThunderDome.
At SummerSlam, we could see the in-ring return of a Hall of Famer. The wrestling veteran has recently went back and forth with Sami Zayn on social media, teasing a match.
One star we might not see on the show is Daniel Bryan. After revealing that his WWE contract expires soon, Bryan expressed interest in wrestling for other promotions.
During WrestleMania 37 Night 1, the show was delayed due to bad weather. If the same happens at SummerSlam, we may be treated to more unscripted promos.
