An update has emerged on the possibility of Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) returning to WWE following the change in management.
Following Vince McMahon’s retirement, Triple H took over WWE creative. Since he assumed the creative and EVP of Talent Relations positions, Triple H has brought four stars back to the company, Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross & Scarlett, and Dexter Lumis.
There has been speculation that Windham Rotunda will be the next former WWE star to make a surprise comeback.
Per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, some WWE higher ups believe that the company is more likely to re-sign Rotunda than before. Sapp promised to elaborate on this with a future Fightful Select report.
Rotunda was released in July 2021, last wrestling at WrestleMania 37 that April. He recently shared a message on Twitter that many perceived as a cryptic clue about his future, however Rotunda has since claimed that it was not his intention to tease his next move.
Numerous wrestlers have finished up with WWE since Wyatt’s exit. You can view a list of every WWE departure of 2022 at this link.
Do you all want me to run a report tomorrow on why some WWE higher ups believe they are more likely to regain Bray Wyatt now than before?
