Powerhouse Hobbs Reflects On Winning Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match AEW

Powerhouse Hobbs has reflected on winning the Face of the Revolution ladder match.

On the March 1 edition of AEW Dynamite, Powerhouse Hobbs won the Face of the Revolution ladder match to earn a shot at the TNT Championship.

Hobbs won by trucking through a ladder to knock Konosuke Takeshita off and climbed the damaged ladder with referees holding it up to retrieve the brass ring for the victory.

Speaking on the Duece and Mo podcast, Hobbs stated that this win was the biggest moment of his career and reflected on standing on top of the ladder. He said:

“Right now, at this moment, winning the Face of the Revolution ladder match in San Francisco. It can’t get better than that because I’m standing at the top of this ladder, where it says do not stand.”

“[Speaking about the ladder being bent], I hit it hard. I wear a size 14 shoe and my feet over this ladder. I’m an athlete, I have balance. I’m standing there looking like the Jesus statue holding [the ring].”

When asked what was going through his mind when at the top of the ladder, Hobbs stated:

“It’s live TV. I’m going to climb up there and get it. If something would have happened, I would have fallen on our officials.”

Powerhouse Hobbs will face Wardlow for the TNT Championship on tonight’s March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.

All Elite Wrestling has announced other matches for the show, which you can read here.
