There was reportedly ‘a lot of praise’ on a new WWE name’s performance on last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
On the September 2 episode of Raw, a new commentary team debuted for the show, with Wade Barrett joining ESPN’s Joe Tessitore at the desk for the show.
The pair returned to the desk for last night’s show, which was Tessitore’s third show as the play by play announcer for Raw, and his work has been praised online by fans.
It’s not just fans online that have praised his performance, as PWInsider has noted that there was a lot of praise internally for Tessitore’s call on last night’s episode of Raw.
Tessitore and Barrett are set to remain as the Raw commentary team for the remainder of 2024, with them moving over to SmackDown in January when Raw moves to Netflix.
Last night’s show featured a memorable segment involving Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed, with the two men brawling around ringside and the backstage area, including Reed throwing a ‘fan’ at Strowman.
