Details have emerged on the backstage producers for the Raw after WrestleMania 39, including the Cody Rhodes beatdown segment.
Throughout the night, WWE was advertising a huge tag-team match for the main event of the April 3 show, with Cody Rhodes slated to team with Brock Lesnar to face Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
This bout ultimately didn’t happen, with Brock Lesnar attacking Cody Rhodes during the ring introductions, and the show ending after an extended beatdown of the former AEW EVP.
This segment has divided fans, with some intrigued by this rivalry, and others disappointed with the show.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Michael Hayes was listed as the producer for this segment. Hayes has worked on many major segments in recent years, and regularly works on matches and promos for Roman Reigns and the Bloodline.
