The WWE backstage producers for the April 8 edition of Friday Night SmackDown have been revealed.
This week’s show was the first episode of SmackDown following WrestleMania 38 on April 2&3.
In the final segment of the show, Roman Reigns ordered SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos to unify their gold with the Raw Tag Team Title, before the Bloodline attacked Shinsuke Nakamura.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Jason Jordan was listed as the producer for this segment.
Two former WWE stars received producer tryouts on Friday, with Joe Henning (Curtis Axel) working on Sasha Banks vs Liv Morgan, under TJ Wilson, and Ariya Daivari producing Drew McIntyre vs Sami Zayn, under Abyss.
Ariya’s brother, Shawn Daivari, is a full-time WWE producer, notably working on the promo segment featuring Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.
Kenny Dykstra was listed as the producer for the segment involving the SmackDown debuts of Gunther and Marcel Barthel, now known as Ludwig Kaiser.
Adam Pearce produced the Happy Talk segment, in which Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss came to blows.
Petey Williams worked on the Xavier Woods vs Butch match, per the report.
