Anthony Ogogo’s PROGRESS debut match has been removed from the WWE Network streams of PROGRESS Chapter 127: ‘And the word was PROGRESS’.
On January 23, the AEW star made a shock appearance for the UK promotion, defeating Hari Singh in singles action.
Earlier today, the full event dropped on demandPROGRESS and the WWE Network (and Peacock) streaming services. While Ogogo’s appearance was present on demandPROGRESS around an hour into the event, the AEW star isn’t featured in the WWE versions of the stream. PROGRESS has since stated that this ‘bonus’ match is exclusive to demandPROGRESS.
Following Ogogo’s debut, fans speculated that WWE and PROGRESS may not be working together moving forward, however Cultaholic reported that there has been no change to PROGRESS’ working relationship with WWE.
The WWE Network (and Peacock) currently features a number of PROGRESS events, due to this working relationship. WWE and PROGRESS have maintained a partnership for a number of years now, with PROGRESS notably hosting qualifying bouts for the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic, and borrowing talents such as Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate for special appearances.
