A lot of fans have been anticipating the quarter-hour viewership breakdown for the September 7 edition of AEW Dynamite following All Out.
There was the initial attraction of Tony Khan’s announcement to kick off the show, addressing the situation with the AEW World Title and AEW Trios Title after CM Punk, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks were all suspended after their fight backstage at All Out.
It seemed likely that was going to lead to a viewership boost at the start of the show, but the main event was Daniel Garcia vs Wheeler Yuta, who, despite both being elevated in recent months, are still far from the level of popularity of AEW’s very top stars.
Well, it went pretty much as you probably imagined – viewership started off at 1.221 million, but by the end of the show, only 881,000 people were left.
Here’s the full breakdown via Wrestlenomics – the number in brackets is the 18-49 viewers:
- 8pm-8:15pm – 1.221 million (608,000) – MJF return recap from All Out, Tony Khan announcement, MJF/Jon Moxley promo

- 9pm-9:15pm – 998,000 (438,000) – Wardlow vs Tony Nese, Wardlow promo, Darby Allin/Sammy Guevara video, Bryan Danielson vs Adam Page

- 9:45pm-10pm – 881,000 (407,000) – Daniel Garcia vs Wheeler Yuta, Bryan Danielson & Chris Jericho confrontation
Despite the gradual decrease throughout the show, the overall number still led to celebration from Tony Khan, who pointed out that this is the first time since October 2021 that the average overall viewership for three Dynamites in a row has been over 1 million, and it’s the 15th straight week in a row that Dynamite has ranked in the top two shows on cable in the key 18-49 demo.
