‘I’m Gonna Miss You’ – R-Truth, Cody Rhodes & More WWE Stars Pay Tribute To John Cena Ahead Of Final Match WWE

R-Truth, Cody Rhodes and many more WWE stars and legends have paid tribute to John Cena ahead of his final match tonight at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

John Cena’s impact on the wrestling industry has been clear to see in the build to his final match against GUNTHER, with WWE stars from the past and present, wrestlers from other companies and even many sports teams paying tribute to the “Greatest of All Time” today.

While names such as Kurt Angle and The Undertaker shared their own personal tributes to Cena, social media has been flooded with other messages to the 17-time world champion.

R-Truth, who has long referred to Cena as his “childhood hero”, this time called John his “brother from a different mother” in an emotional message via Twitter:

@JohnCena, My brutha from a different mother, Im so proud of you …I’m gone miss you

Becky Lynch, who often refers to herself as the greatest female wrestler of all time, took to Twitter to call Cena the G.O.A.T.:

The Greatest to Ever Do It (ME!!! Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report says it) and THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME (YOU!!! EVERYONE SAYS IT).

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, who faced off with Cena for the United States Championship many times on SmackDown early in John’s career, wrote:

Tonight, we pay tribute to one of the greatest performers ever inside the ring—and one of the biggest superstars this business has ever seen outside of it.

Tonight, we celebrate hustle, loyalty, and respect. We salute a man whose legacy defines an era and whose impact will last forever.

WWE NXT star Shawn Spears reflected on getting the chance to work with Cena at an Ohio Valley Wrestling event in 2007:

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Charlotte Flair, Corey Graves and many others also shared images of themselves and Cena, whilst using the hashtag “Thank You Cena”.

Outside of WWE, TNA Wrestling World Champion Frankie Kazarian described working with Cena in the beginning of his career as an “honor and privilege”:

Matt Cardona, who got to make his return to WWE for the Last Time is Now Tournament wrote:
