R-Truth Reacts After John Cena’s Final WWE Match WWE

WWE star R-Truth has opened up about John Cena’s farewell and retirement, following his last match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

John Cena’s WWE career is now over, with the 17-time world champion losing to GUNTHER in his final match on December 13.

Speaking during the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Recap show, R-Truth discussed his admiration for John Cena, praising the now-retired star.

R-Truth said:

“It’s bittersweet. Man, he has dedicated so much to the business. When I say dedicated so much to the business, I mean his time, his body, his mind, his resilience.

“For him to be able to pick the time to do that exit… We all have to get off that ride at some point, but it’s bittersweet. We don’t want to see him go, I don’t want to see him go, nobody else wants to see him go.

“Nothing lasts forever, and he’s able to do it on his own terms, that’s what makes me happy and proud. If you saw the highlights, the little kid with the belt, he achieved more than he probably even thought he could achieve.

“If anything man, he’s a walking testimony, he’s living proof of believing in yourself, never giving up, having loyalty to yourself, to the business, to people, and just respecting everything. He’s a prime example of what it is to be who you are.”
