The September 30 episode of WWE Raw saw The Miz attack his Awesome Truth teammate R-Truth after cajoling from Karrion Kross.
Last night’s WWE Raw featured The Awesome Truth taking on Authors of Pain, with The Miz’s betrayal towards the match’s climax leaving R-Truth left all on his own, as can be seen in the highlights below this match.
This all came off the back of last week’s WWE Raw, where The Miz questioned what he could offer the fans after Karrion Kross played mind games with him.
Following the attack from his own tag team partner, R-Truth has addressed the incident in backstage comments that can be seen below.
According to R-Truth, the confusion stems from Truth’s history with Judgment Day, going on to explain:
“I think he got confused. Miz got confused. He thinks I’m still in Judgment Day.”
With Cathy Kelley pointing out that the kick looked intentional, Truth would go on to say:
“Wait a minute! Are you saying that was done on purpose?”

Finding such a possibility difficult to believe, R-Truth took issue with Kelley’s suggestion, stating:
“Cathy Kelley, don’t you be putting no blasphemy on The Miz.
“Miz did not do that intentionally. He was merely confused of which team that I was on because I used to be in the Judgment Day a while back.
“But, I left them and (am with) Awesome Truth. I don’t think he did that on purpose.”

Truth would ask Kelley her opinion of what happened with the backstage interviewer choosing not to answer and Truth concluding:
“I hope he didn’t. I need to find out. Text him for me… I’ll text him.
“As a matter of fact, I need to go find him cos I don’t think he’d do nothing like that, not to me.
“He better not have done it on purpose.”

With Karrion Kross having been attempting to break up New Day previously and now seemingly successful with R-Truth, the Final Testament leader has revealed his plans in WWE, as can be seen below.
At the time of writing, The Miz is yet to respond to what happened on last night’s WWE Raw.
