R-Truth made his return to WWE to close out tonight’s WWE Money In The Bank premium live event in Los Angeles.
Last week, R-Truth announced that he would be leaving WWE, with him announcing that his contract with the company was not being renewed.
Truth’s departure was a rather unpopular one among both fans and those within WWE, with crowds chanting ‘We Want Truth’ during Raw, SmackDown, NXT and tonight’s Money In The Bank show.
However, it turns out the fans in Los Angeles GOT Truth, as he made his return to WWE television, jumping the barricade during the Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul and John Cena main event.
Truth attacked John Cena during the main event, allowing Cody Rhodes to pin Cena and score the victory.
Interestingly, WWE Shop has now released new merchandise for Truth under his real name ‘Ron Killings’, seemingly implying that he has been renamed following his return.
We’ll keep you posted regarding any further updates and details regarding the circumstances of Truth’s departure and return, and how the situation played out.
