WWE star R-Truth has provided an update on his recent surgery after suffering an injury on WWE NXT.
R-Truth was hurt on the November 1 edition of NXT after attempting a suicide dive during his bout against Grayson Waller.
The wrestling veteran later confirmed that he had suffered a torn quad, and that the injury would require surgery.
R-Truth has now shared a photo of himself post-surgery on Twitter. The star confirmed that he underwent successful surgery, thanking fans for their support.
Truth wrote:
“I really really appreciate the support and love im receiving from all of you!! I can’t say thank you enough🙏🏾, Surgery went well, stay tuned.. #whatitis”
It is currently unclear when Truth is expected to return to action. The 50-year old star’s most recent WWE Raw match was against The Miz on the October 24 episode.
Truth picked up the victory in this bout after The Miz was distracted by Johnny Gargano dressed as Dexter Lumis.
We wish Truth a full and complete recovery from his injury.
