‘This Is Bulls**t’: R-Truth’s Former Tag Team Partner Reacts To WWE Departure WWE

One of R-Truth’s former tag-team partners has reacted to his ex-teammate’s WWE release, calling the situation bulls**t.

With R-Truth announcing his exit on June 1, with WWE not renewing his contract, many fans and wrestlers have taken to social media to share messages for the departing star.

Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones – who won the TNA Tag Team Championship with R-Truth in 2007 – has now criticized WWE for letting Truth go.

Speaking on his Politely Raw podcast, the former NFL star noted:

“This is bulls**t! A friend of mine, R-Truth, being released by WWE he’s one of the fan’s favorite.

“I wrestled with him in TNA. This guy is a true professional and the best team mate I’ve ever had. We won the tag team championship together. People are pissed about this, my boy.”

While Truth did originally announce that he was released, Both Fightful and PWInsider have confirmed that WWE will not be renewing R-Truth’s contract, as opposed to it being a ‘release’.

When asked if he thinks WWE should’ve been better with R-Truth Jones added:

“Hell yeah, f**king right. He’s a true professional. I’ve never seen him get out of character of what he’s doing, this was his main drive.

“You don’t even give the fans a last time to see him? They dropped the ball. 100%.”

Truth – as Ron Killings – and Jones won the TNA Tag Team Championship from Kurt Angle & Sting at the September 2007 No Surrender pay-per-view.

They defended the gold twice before dropping the title to AJ Styles & Tomko at Bound For Glory that October, with Rasheed Lucius Creed serving as a replacement for Pacman Jones.

The latest update on R-Truth’s WWE exit following Monday Night Raw can be found right here.

We’ll keep you posted if any further updates emerge, and we continue to wish Truth all the best going forward.
