Randy Orton Challenges Huge NXT Star To A Match

Without a doubt one of the most dominant NXT runs in recent years was the first run of Karrion Kross, who became NXT Champion in August 2020, having only debuted in April of the same year.

Unfortunately, the NXT Championship is definitely cursed, and Kross injured his shoulder in the match, meaning he was forced to relinquish the belt.

Despite returning at the end of last year, Kross is yet to re-enter the NXT Championship picture, but it seems Randy Orton is keen on Kross to jump straight to the main roster.

Orton retweeted a Kross promo video on Twitter, and appeared to challenge him to a match.

There’s no doubt that this would be a huge match, but it could very easily just be Randy being Randy, and no plans are in place. Vince McMahon famously hates his wrestlers teasing matches that aren’t planned, but you get the feeling at this point in his career Randy could punch Vince’s grandchildren and he still wouldn’t be punished, so let’s not be under the illusion there’s gonna be any heat on him.
