Randy Orton Reveals He Almost Set Himself On Fire At WWE Show In 2005

During the WWE Untold: The Phenom and The Legend Killer episode, Randy Orton opened up about his feud with The Undertaker in 2005 heading into their clash at WrestleMania 21.

In a clip that WWE has posted onto Twitter to promote the show, Randy Orton speaks about a spot that saw him set a casket on fire during their feud. Orton noted that he was incredibly close to setting himself on fire during the spot.

Orton noted that he managed to get a lot of the flammable liquid on his legs during the spot. He said that after setting the casket on fire, he managed to step back just in time so that his legs weren’t caught on fire.

Randy said that health and safety staff members were standing by to use a fire extinguisher if things went wrong. However, Orton was narrowly able to avoid the fire and subsequently avoided disaster.
