Randy Orton & His Wife Continue Twitter War With NXT Star

As we covered earlier, Randy Orton has gotten into a bit of a heated exhange with an NXT star on Twitter, and it seems as though he’s not letting up.

To recap, it started with Orton seemingly mocking NXT and its performers, tweeting: “Heard #WWENXT #TakeoverInYourHouse was great! Slappin my leg for you guys. Sincerely #legslap”.

Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa took exception to this and replied with: “My daughter has been having trouble sleeping. Luckily I found a remedy. Randy Orton matches. Better than NyQuil. Sincerely #AnEntireLockerRoomWhoBustedTheirAsses”.

And if you thought Orton was gonna let that slide, you’d be wrong. The ‘Viper’ most recently clapped back with: “Looks like I hurt the feelings of the self appointed lockeroom leader of a wrestling school. Let me know what time #legslap class starts so I can take my game to the next level.”.

If that wasn’t enough, his wife Kim also chimed in, writing: “Isn’t that the same guy who took credit for all those ‘great matches’ that he DIDNT put together?”.

Come this Sunday, we’ll be able to see whether Orton can validly insult NXT’s talent as he faces Edge at Backlash in a match being promoted as the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’.

The match was actually taped yesterday, so WWE has a whole week to use the power of editing and such to make it the best it can be.
