With Randy Orton opponentless for WWE WrestleMania 41, the star has now addressed plans for the upcoming Premium Live Event.

Orton was set for a match at the April 19 & 20 WWE PLE, but an injury suffered by Kevin Owens has seen the Rattlesnake now without an opponent.

In a recent interview with Complex, Orton shared an update on his status for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Speaking to Raj Prashad, Randy Orton said he was staying optimistic about WrestleMania 41, stating:

“I’m staying optimistic and I think that, not to sound like a cocky asshole or anything, but I think that … it’s hard for me to even say this, but I think that the star power that Randy Orton has in the professional wrestling world or bubble or whatever you want to call it.

“I think that it would be a shame if I wasn’t somehow put in a position where I can at least hit an RKO at WrestleMania.

“My hopes would be that we are able to make some sense of something and get people invested.”

Following the announcement that Randy Orton wouldn’t be heading to WrestleMania 41, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis found himself on the receiving end of an RKO.
